At Ballard Clinic, we work one-on-one with children, adolescents, and young adults to understand their unique needs, uncover the root causes of their concerns, and find ways to alleviate their symptoms. Our tailored approach to individual therapy is designed to meet each client where they are, providing them with the tools and support they need to thrive.
Our team specializes in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), a proven method to help clients understand how their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors are connected. CBT equips them with healthier thinking strategies, relaxation techniques, and practical coping skills to manage anxiety and depression. We also offer Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), which teaches clients to embrace the present moment and accept their thoughts and feelings without judgment.

Whether you're feeling persistently sad, fatigued, hopeless, or disconnected from life, our therapists are here to help you understand the root causes of your depression and guide you toward healing. Through a combination of CBT, DBT, ACT and more, we help you identify negative thought patterns and develop coping strategies that work for you. Therapy offers a safe/ nonjudgmental space to identify persisting thought patterns that get in the way.
