Find an Assessment Specialist ⭢
In addition to the data gathered in the clinic, our assessment specialists can consult with your child’s school and other members of their care team (e.g., therapists, pediatricians) to understand their functioning across settings. We strive to develop a whole-person picture of your child, including their areas of strength and their areas for improvement.
*Most include a combination of assessing cognitive ability, academic achievement, learning and memory, executive functioning, visual motor coordination, and social, emotional, and behavioral health. Autism evaluations also include an assessment of social language.
Explore challenges related to persistent, significant concerns that are affecting daily life.
Explore functional difficulties that may be related to inattention, hyperactivity, and/or impulsivity.
Explore challenges related to social understanding, relationships, and restricted and repetitive patterns of behavior.
Explore challenges related to dyslexia, dysgraphia, dyscalculia, and related learning differences.
This comprehensive assessment helps uncover the reasons behind your child's learning, behavioral, or emotional challenges, providing clarity and guidance for the right support. While every neuropsychological assessment is tailored to the needs of your child, here are a few examples of evlautions we routinely complete:
SCHEDULE AN ASSESSMENT
This assessment helps ensure your child is prepared for the transition to school, identifying strengths and areas where additional support may be needed for a successful start.
The assessment specialist will administer tests and provide findings at the conclusion. Assessments include a social/emotional measure, an intelligent quotient (IQ) measure, and a kindergarten readiness screener that evaluates basic concepts related to school readiness.
An IQ assessment provides valuable insight into your child’s cognitive abilities, helping to guide educational planning and identify any advanced needs or areas where additional support may be beneficial.
Parents receive the results immediately after testing is complete. This test is often required for giftedness determination.
