I have a warm, compassionate, and empathetic personality that I bring to my practice. I emphasize the importance of the relationship between the client and therapist, and I strive to connect with adolescents and young adults wherever they are in the treatment/healing process. I implement evidence-based therapeutic approaches in my work, including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention Therapy (ERP), and Family-Based Therapy (FBT). I have specific interest in treating eating disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorders, phobias, and other anxiety-based disorders, including generalized anxiety disorder, social anxiety, and panic.

I value quality time with family and friends, and incorporate the importance of social connections in my work. In my free time, I like to garden, read, spend time out on the lakes, and snowboard in the winter. I especially enjoy any time spent outdoors with my daughter observing her appreciation and curiosity of nature.

  • I absolutely love working with adolescents and young adults. This can be a tricky time for many, and it has been so rewarding to get to be there and help them move towards the next phase of life.
  • I believe laughing is a part of therapy, and I love to incorporate humor into my work.
