I have a warm, compassionate, and empathetic personality that I bring to my practice.I have specialized training and a strong interest in working with eating disorders, including Avoidant/Restrictive Food Intake Disorder (ARFID), as well as obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), phobias, and a range of anxiety-related conditions such as generalized anxiety disorder, social anxiety, and panic disorder.
In addition to these areas of focus, I’m particularly interested in exploring how certain core factors impact a client’s daily functioning and self-perception, including:
- Self-esteem and confidence
- Perfectionism traits and beliefs
- Rigid vs. flexible thinking patterns
- Daily self-care practices
- Assertive communication and self-advocacy
- Clarifying and integrating personal values into therapeutic work
I believe that strong, supportive relationships are essential to overall well-being, and I regularly incorporate this perspective into my therapeutic work. Personally, I value quality time with family and friends, and I love spending time outdoors. Whether it’s gardening or enjoying time at the lake in the summer, or snowboarding and skating in the winter, I find nature to be an important grounding force. At home, I stay busy with a young daughter and a new puppy, so the more time we can all spend outside, the better.
