“We don’t stop playing because we get old; we get old because we stop playing.” - George
Bernard Shaw

I became a clinician because I’ve seen how meaningful support can impact someone’s life well beyond the moment they receive it. I especially enjoy psychological testing because it allows me to put the pieces together and help people better understand themselves, while also identifying supports and opportunities they may not have otherwise considered.

Outside of work, I’m a big Minnesota Vikings fan (Skol!), and I enjoy volleyball, movies and TV shows (including anime), digital drawing, traveling, and games like Pokémon. I also love spending time outdoors, especially near the water. Most of all, I enjoy spending time with my fiancé and our Siberian Husky, Aurora, who is approximately 50% excitement and 50% sass.

Back to all Therapists

  • When working with me, clients can expect a balance between addressing challenges and honoring what matters most to them. I strive to understand the whole person, including their values, strengths, interests, relationships, and unique experiences, not just the concerns that brought them to therapy.

  • Let’s make things a little playful with two truths and a lie, which we can discuss when we meet, because I’d love to hear yours too:
  1. I have never broken a bone.
  2. I once fed a kangaroo.
  3. I once ate buffalo wings that required me to sign a waiver.

  • Fun fact: My brain is occasionally powered by early-2000s TV quotes, such as SpongeBob and other childhood classics.
