“We don’t stop playing because we get old; we get old because we stop playing.” - George
Bernard Shaw
I became a clinician because I’ve seen how meaningful support can impact someone’s life well beyond the moment they receive it. In therapy, I enjoy seeing the small wins that happen as clients build awareness, connect their internal experiences with their everyday lives, and move toward a life that reflects their values, interests, and strengths.
My style is gentle, playful, curious, collaborative, and flexible. I draw from CBT, DBT, ACT, play therapy, systems and strengths-based approaches while remaining person-centered. I love incorporating games, art, metaphors, humor, and clients’ interests to make therapy approachable, meaningful, and uniquely theirs. I enjoy working with clients with concerns such as ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, anxiety, behavioral concerns, life transitions, parenting, and depression. Stability, playfulness, and growth are values that guide my work.
Outside of work, I’m a big Minnesota Vikings fan (Skol!), and I enjoy volleyball, movies and TV shows (including anime), digital drawing, traveling, and games like Pokémon. I also love spending time outdoors, especially near the water. Most of all, I enjoy spending time with my fiancé and our Siberian Husky, Aurora, who is approximately 50% excitement and 50% sass.
