Having worked in schools as a coach and support professional for 25 years, I have seen the many ways students and families operate and express themselves. I believe that everyone already has what it takes to build a tool box for success, however they define it. I am certified in trauma-focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and trained in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART). I hope to make the therapy process accessible and less intimidating for my clients. Some days, just showing up for a session is challenging enough for clients. I applaud those who make the choice to face their struggles and I feel it is a privilege to be a part of the process.

I have been involved in the Minnesota volleyball community for nearly 20 years and I love working with athletes whether their struggles are about sports or life. In my free time I am probably coaching somewhere near Shakopee, Rosemount, or Blaine. My amazing pup, Paco, keeps me entertained with his adventurous spirit. Family is my source of strength and love, so I spend as much time with them as our busy lives allow.

  • I really like helping to “translate” between teenagers and their parents. I understand and empathize with the challenges that both parents and teens face, and can help work with them to bridge divides and build a more understanding relationship.
  • I like to use humor, honesty, and some coaching in order to help others make changes in their lives. Building relationships and trust is key to this process, and I wait for permission before moving forward.
  • I understand that many of my clients are working through difficult life issues, and I strive to make my office a safe and comfortable place for them.
