With nearly 20 years of experience in the field of children’s mental health, I understand the many challenges kids and families face today. I approach therapy with the firm belief that given the right tools and support, every child can build confidence and move toward a healthier, happier future.
I enjoy working with elementary through high-school students. My areas of focus include anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, grief and loss, and helping youth navigate family changes and other stressors. Building a safe and supportive relationship is at the heart of my work. My therapeutic style is genuine, reflective, and creative, with a healthy dose of humor, especially when I’m working with teens.
Having worked for many years as a mental health clinician in the schools, I understand the impact mental health challenges can have on a child’s overall learning and success in the classroom. I’m passionate about empowering families to partner with schools so that each child’s learning is supported alongside their social and emotional growth.
