I am passionate about building a strong therapeutic relationship with clients in order to empower them to reach their own goals. I believe that families have the tools and talents they need to find solutions to life's problems and promote the health of their children, and I am honored to help parents and children learn to harness and build on their strengths. I utilize evidence-base practices including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Play therapy, and Narrative therapy to assist clients who may be struggling with a variety of issues related to anxiety, ADHD, trauma, stress, and social and behavioral skills.

I am a life-long Minnesotan who is happiest near or on a lake. When forced to be on land, I enjoy spending time with family, friends, and my rambunctious dog, Gus. I also enjoy trying new restaurants and coffee shops and attending concerts and comedy shows.

  • Working with young children has been a passion of mine for many years. I believe in the power of early intervention and early mental health education to promote the wellbeing of children for years to come.
  • As a family therapist by training and a therapist who has worked for many years with young children, I find that playfulness and humor are important for building and strengthening relationships between myself and my client, and also between family members. Therapy is often hard emotional work, but that doesn't mean we can't also laugh and have fun along the way!
  • I love Minnesota sports. I am a lifelong Vikings fan, a Loons fan, and a newly minted Timberwolves fan.
