My approach to therapy is one of genuine curiosity and a desire to build a trusting therapeutic relationship with clients. I am frequently told I have a calming effect on others. I am open, honest, and want my clients to feel like their story matters. Therapy can be hard work. I strive to create a space where clients feel ownership in their journey, safe, and supported. I am goal-oriented while also recognizing that sometimes, we all need a little levity and to celebrate the spaces where we find joy.
I enjoy working with children, adolescents, and young adults, as well as parents who
may need guidance and a place to go when parenting gets hard! Creating open communication, trust, and relational support are of interest to me. Leveraging evidence-based theories and education to help clients understand themselves better, build coping skills, and create meaningful change. I strive to take a client-centered, strength-based approach. This means that I already know my clients have everything they need to start.
Outside of work, I place being a mom at the center. I love spending time with my crazy busy family and finding joy in all of our chaos. I truly need exercise, always have a house
project, a binge-worthy show is second to none, and there is nothing sweeter than long
summer lake days at the cabin.
